Sadie Cook '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing field hockey since 7th grade with my school and fell in love with the game quickly. I played varsity as a freshman. My sophomore year I ended the season with 7 goals and 1 assist. My junior year I ended my season with 11 goals and 1 assist. At the end of my season my junior year I made the Lancaster Lebanon league All Star team. My junior year I started playing club hockey with the Spooky Nook in Lancaster. I really enjoyed the schedule of 3 practices 2 games and tournaments on the weekends. I also play in an adult league on Sundays with my coaches at Red Rose Arena in Lancaster. I attended the Shooting Star tournament in VA in fall of 2022. I have also done the talent ID days with RAD Athletics. I am currently participating in the USA field hockey Nexus program. I am excited that I have been selected to attend team selection weekend in June. I am really hopeful to play in college. I have the reach to stop opponent's shots and to be there to tap goals in for my team. I work well with teammates to score goals. If there is a better opportunity for a teammate to score, I am more than happy to help set up that goal. I have played as a mid and on defense as well but prefer left forward. Hockey is a team effort and I really hope to find a great college team!
