Lexi Haws '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lexi Haws and I am a sophomore at Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester, PA.   I enjoy playing field hockey and cannot wait to attend a college that will allow me to further my education and my game.  

I consider myself to be a hard worker on and off the field.  I am easy to coach and get along well with my teammates.  My hard-working attitude and determination help me strive to be a better student and player.  Coaches have told me that by better qualities are my smart decision making and that I can communicate with others on the field.  I make sure to give words of encouragement and communicate plays like marking a player inside the circle. 

Off the field, I strive to do my best to get good grades.  If I am struggling I always ask for help.  In college, I plan to major in Chemistry on the Pre-Med track.  I would like to be a surgeon in a children's hospital or at least work with children. 

I currently play for my high school team during the fall season and in the spring season, I play for NXT Field Hockey.  During the summer months, I train and go to camps/clinics to better my game.
