Kourtney Hartzel '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing in the National Indoor Tournament at the age of 15 competing at a 19u level is the highlight of my career. However, I became most interested in field hockey my freshman year of high school when I first became a goalie. Nevertheless, the experience that shaped me the most as a student-athlete was not qualifiying for the 16u National Indoor Tournament. This helped me grow and re-focus on my goal of becoming a solid, college goalie. 

I had the privilege to play on a travel team that won many tournament and medals. Through this program I learned not only to become a competitor, but most importantly a teammate. I am looking for a program that will fit me athleticlly as well as academiclly. As a four-sport athlete I know I have the skill and attitude to make an impact on your program!
