Personal Statement
My name is Mikayla Walters and I am a freshman at West York Area High School in York, PA. I am interested in playing field hockey at a college level once I graduate from high school. I have been playing field hockey since 7th grade and have made major improvements in my skills over the last several years. I play field hockey every fall with my school team and I also participate in track and enjoy running. Currently I participate in an indoor tournament league with RAM field hockey in Hanover, PA on their U16 division. Academically my goal is to major in english and become a high school english teacher. I am hard working and love to be part of a team. I feel I would be a major asset to any team who chooses to recruit me.
