Noora Qureshi '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Noora Qureshi, and I am a freshman (class of 2027) at Greenhill School in Addison, TX. I have been playing field hockey since first grade when my mom, who played field hockey in college, first signed me up for my club team, Lonestar. I have been on the Lonestar travel team since April of 2022 and have grown so much from my experiences. I also played club soccer for the entirety of middle school, which helped me gain strength and field awareness, and develop the traits of a leader. I was elected captain in my final year. My club soccer commitment kept me from playing on my club’s travel team initially, but I stopped playing soccer so I could focus on field hockey.  Field hockey is my passion, and I strive to be coachable, have a good attitude, and get better every day. My goal is to play field hockey in college at the highest level I can. I am also strongly academically driven, and it is important to me that I do my best in school as well as on the field. I currently play for Lonestar's U16 Orange team and am a captain, helping lead my team as a central midfielder.
