Emery Thompson '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a 15 year old sophomore forward / mid-fielder and I play for Vermont's nationally ranked Green Mountain Girls Field Hockey Club.  In January 2024, I helped my team to finish second in our bracket at Sunshine Showcase and at NIT we placed second in our pool.  I was a "Golden Ticket" recipient for the College Connection Under Armour Select Game played at Harvard University on July 23, 2024.

This past Fall 2024, I was the leading goal scorer for the Champlain Valley Union High School (Vermont's largest high school) with 16 goals and 14 assists.  I received the Vermont "First Team" recognition for the 2024 season and was invited to play in an All-Star game.

I am excited to play field hockey at the college level with a team where I can contribute my strong ball handling and stick skills while growing as a leader on and off the field.  I am a hard worker who enjoys helping other players develop, while seeking feedback to continuously improve my game.
