Emmanuel (EJ) Edwards '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to successfully obtain an undergraduate degree in  biology.  After completion of my undergraduate studies, I plan to obtain a graduate/professional degree  in physical therapy.    I am committed to academic success.  I have spent my entire school career making the academic honor roll.  I am extremely coachable and have a strong desire to work toward the common goals of any team of which I am a part.  Since I was a 6-year-old playing flag football, I have always been noticed as having great hands and quick feet.  During my entire middle school career, I started at safety.  I was also a part of kick-off coverage.

I would feel blessed and humbled to be offered an opportunity to play at the collegiate level.  I know that the only way to make that happen is through hard work and discipline.  For the past year, I have worked with a personal trainer in an effort to sharpen my skills and get better at my game.  I wake up at 5 a.m. on the weekends in the summer to make my 6 a.m. training sessions.  I'm determined to maximize my God-given talent.
