I developed a love for the game of football when my older brother started playing. Even though I was three years younger, I could not wait to get out there and play myself. After two youth league championships and having an undefeated season my eighth grade year, I began to take note of what was required of a team to achieve such lofty goals. Teamwork, dedication, and sacrifice, moved those teams I played on toward accomplishing a common goal. You never look past your next game and you should never think that what you have or have not accomplished so far is indicative of how a season is going to turn out. After having to change schools during my sophomore year, I took these lessons to heart. I earned the starting quarterback position at my new school and after an 0-3 start, we battled back to make it to the semi-finals of the state championships.
I know I have what it takes to play at the next level. My work ethic, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice makes me a valuable asset to any program. I am a leader on and off the field as well as in the classroom and I strive to set the example for others to follow. I look forward to taking the next step in my athletic career, wherever that step takes me.
