Charlie Hollis '22 Recruiting Profile

Football is about doing your individual job to the best of your ability to contribute to the team.  That is what has always made football so fulfilling to me.  I have to work hard on my specific position, but we have to work together as a team for us to have success.  I have grown as a player and as a teammate over the last 4 years.  I have been on a high school football team that has not been successful my entire high school career.  I have seen many of my teammates give up and quit because of what they put in; they do not feel they are getting out.  That was never a thought for me because although winning feels good, my heart is about playing the game. Our school is not one to get exposure, so I have gone to many university campuses to learn more about my position and hear how I can improve over the last 3 years. What makes me different: I am not your typical teenager.  You will not find anything on social media because I do not use it other than following coaches on Twitter. I am strong in my faith and share it as a leader on my football team.  I will be an asset as a leader, as a team player, a teammate, and as a student.
