Onius Heard '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to attend college while playing football and then graduate to become a nurse or even a surgeon. The qualities that make me a good candidate for selection are, perseverance ,integrity, and the ability to strive to the best of my abilities. While simultaneously getting a great education,and perfecting my skills on the field, football has also taught me responsibilities that I can use for the rest of my life. I think it is very important to have my priorities in order, for instance,instead of me going to a party and neglecting my homework assignments, I would make sure my studies come first. My character is the type where I can be a leader,but also I can follow instructions from whomever is in charge. Football has taught me a lot and it's nice to feel that brotherhood knowing that there are guys pushing you and helping you to become the best you can as a player and in life.
