I am a 6', 220-pound Defensive End from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In Grade 10 (first year of high school in parts of Canada) I made the St. Francis (ranked 11th in Canada) Varsity team as a starting Defensive End, one of a few sophomore players to do so. The season was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.
This summer, I made the Football Alberta U18 South team, competing against the best Under-18 players across Alberta in the North-South bowl. I played Defensive Tackle for the Saint Francis Browns Senior team in 2021, starting all games (except for one due to illness). Although undersized for a defensive tackle, I held my own in the interior and was consistent in my performance. After the season, I played DE for U18 Team Alberta, playing BC. Academically, I have a 3.73 GPA, also taking several Advanced Placement classes.
As a player, I am prepared and highly competitive. I like to keep things loose while playing but am also quietly intense and lead by example. I show up early and prepared, I put away gear after practice, and I respect the game. I am diligent about lifting, speedwork, and flexibility. I have surprised many offensive line opponents with powerful bull rushes, quick take-offs, and technical hands to get into the backfield. I took advantage of the pandemic to improve my speed, power, and flexibility.
I want to play university football in the US to get an excellent education while continuing to play the sport I love. My priority is to be an excellent student-athlete and position myself for future success. I am looking for academically focused schools that are athletically competitive and highly supportive of student-athletes.
