Derek Hoffman '10 Recruiting Profile

As a leader of in both sports and in the real world I'm the person who will be counted more on actions and what I can do, rather than just words. To me you earn what you work for, and my hard work has benefited my team and myself. I want to prove that I am a top collegiate athlete and be remembered as one of the greatest. A big time D-1 school would be great, but I'm just looking to play football at a higher level for the love of the sport, not for recognition. Plus who would pass up a paid education for playing a sport they truly love? That seems too obscure to me. I plan on majoring in Law or Business Management and surpass the academic limit set for the school. My family is my number one priority and they supply me with life lessons and outstanding support. I am willing to play any where on the field and I will excel any standard, because i was raised to be tough, gritty, but to be humble with my actions.
