**ATTENTION** NEW VARSITY 2011 HIGHLIGHT VIDEO LINK BELOWhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dbJigAN-kgI am Guy Aaron Williams III, I am a Senior and play Middle Linebacker for Cactus High School in Glendale, Arizona. I stand 6'0 and weigh 220 lbs at the young age of 17 years old with a few more years to grow. A Cactus football player is not just an ordinary football player. A Cactus player is committed to working hard every day, is extremely focused on and off the field, is part of a larger team working together towards common goals and is very dedicated to achieving those goals. My coaches and especially my father raised me to have all the traits listed above and have also instilled in me the importance of leadership. I have started on Varsity my Sophomore and Junior years and am looking forward to my final year as a Senior. Being a captain of the team was a great experience and as the leader of the defense on the field, I was now looked to by my peers to be a leader on and off the field as well. I was born and raised surrounded by football. At the age of 5 I was in a NYS and ACYFL (Arizona Competitive Youth Football League)football league. After my first game I fell in love with the sport. Playing on youth teams for me was very hard as it seemed like all the coaches kids always started before me even as talented as I was. I didn't start at any positions and I was never given a chance. I didn't quit. I just used that as a boost of motivation to try even harder. When high school began I trained my heart out with my then and current speed ,quickness and agility coach Myron Sawyer for MY PRO Concepts in order to be able to start. I got faster, bigger, and much stronger. I thought about everything that happened to me in my past youth sports and used it to get me to where I am and where I want to go. After my freshmen and sophomore years, I started to really get involved with football and attended several combines. The first was Schuman NUC combine I attended, I was MVP of my class and my position. This got me invited to the Ultimate 100 NUC combine in California. I also went to another combine Future Pro Five Star and got MVP for my position. The last NUC combine I attended was at the University of Oklahoma where I was second for my position. Playing Varsity football has been a wonderful experience especially as a sophomore starting and helping my team win the 4A2 Championship game in 2009 at the University of Arizona Stadium. As a Junior I accomplished another goal I set for myself, and that was to be the leading tackler of my team and our region for 2010. My next goal is to help develop a strong defense for the upcoming year by coaching and mentoring the up and coming underclassmen to help lead to another championship season. My main goal in high school right now is to work hard in the class and on the field to help get me to the next level "COLLEGE". I'd love to go to a college in or out of state. Out of state would be nice! It would be a new and different experience than what I am used to having lived in AZ my entire life. Getting an education at an excellent school would fulfill my dreams. I want to major in criminal justice or health science. I would love the opportunity to get a full ride scholarship, get an education and be blessed to play college football at the same time. I would definitely offer great leadership, hard work and dedication for a team, coach and school. Once again my name is Guy Williams III and would be honored and privleged to play football and work hard in the classroom for you.
