My name is Gabriel Olivares. I play football with heart. I am a student of the game and want to play at the next level. I strive for excellence both on and off the field. The love of football leads me in many of my decisions. I want to lead by example and find that the field is my home. I know that only through teamwork do we succeed.
I am focused on the game and always try to improve. I participate on several teams and am able to make a positive impact. I use my knowledge to help others as a coach for a local Pee-Wee team; I appreciate the opportunity to be a leader. It helps me see the game from a different perspective.
My goal is to play football at the university level. I am a good candidate for a program because I will give my all. I have been successful at the high school level and was ranked first in the province of British Columbia for the 2015 regular season. In addition I have earned MVP recognition at university identification camps at the University of British Columbia. Recently, I was names Offensive MVP for my conference. As of November, I was named the British Columbia AA Outstanding Offensive MVP which is equivalent to being named All-State. It is a huge honor which I hope jumpstarts my university career. I am coachable and up for the challenge. I will be your hardest worker and will put in the time to get the job done.
