My name is Brandon Fuchs and I am writing to you to express my interest in a university team that is in need of a tight end. I am a 6’5 230 Tight End. I will be graduating from Holy Cross Regional High School in Surrey, BC in June of 2021. I have dreams of playing the tight end at the high level that is university. I love a team that has a dedicated program and coaching staff who will help me reach my highest potential.
I started playing football when I was 5 years old for Cloverdale Community Football. From that point on my interest in football has only gone up. I’ve been playing for the senior football team since I was in grade 10. I played the tackle position for the past two years and have learned lots about proper blocking. I have what it takes to be a great blocking tight end along with route running and my ability to catch the ball. I have a great force that comes with my size. I also play on my high school's basketball team which has taught me the ability to catch the ball while moving. Apart from high school, I play competitive rep ice hockey and ball hockey. Both of those sports have given me the skill of balance and coordination that every tight end needs. When it comes to the classroom, I have a 3.3 GPA through grade 10 and 11. I am striving to get a 3.5 or higher in this final year.
My goal for university is to get a degree in engineering and go further into becoming a civil engineer. I also have a passion for pursuing a sports science degree in kinesiology. I want to get that experience of high level football and play with a group of guys who are devoted to the game just like myself. I want to learn valuable life lessons that will benefit me beyond university.
