R.J. Stephens '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be the best player I can be while getting the best education I can possibly get. I want to be pushed physically and mentally. I'm looking forward to the rigorous schedules, the travel, and the ups and downs of football life.  What makes me a good candidate for any team is that I'm willing to put my mind and body on the line for the team. I will do anything and everything possible to help the team thrive and get better. I'm a team player and a leader that always goes above and beyond to improve all my skills,  I believe that's the difference between me and other recruits. I will go hard all the time. I train my body and mind hard for moments when I'm needed to step up and help the team. Not only am I coachable and reliable usually the only thing that gets me upset is when people don't try hard enough but I'm learning not to wear my heart on my sleeve.  At 6'3 I might not be the tallest but I'm usually the strongest and no matter what I will give it all my every single play.
