Charles Gates '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Charlie Gates, I am a 6'3" 210Ib varsity Outside Linebacker, class of 2027, at Central Valley Christian, California. I played varsity football freshman year and finished with 109 tackles. My parents are teaching the value of an education to me and that sports is a privilege which I'm blessed to be doing. I work hard in the classroom to assure my grades are good. Any time I am not in the classroom I am working out, playing football, or studying.  I have been taught to be humble, kind and respectful to my parents, teachers, coaches and peers in which I am.  I push myself to always to be better than yesterday. I am very competitive in football being the only sophomore captain on my varsity foot team this year and the only starting freshman on varsity last year. My mindset is, if you want it, you go get it. No one will give it to you. Nothing is free and you have to earn it.
