I have been playing football since I was five. football is one of the biggest parts of my life. Football has taught me that resilience is one of the most important qualities that I could have. Whether it is after a loss in football or a major roadblock in my life, I have learned that I need to keep going because sitting around and doing nothing does no good at all. I have had very few real tough obstacles in my life, but I do have one that will stay with me for a long time. My dad has Parkinson's Disease for several years now and as his condition gets worse, he can do less, and I will have to take on large amounts of responsibility that he will no longer be able to do. My dad has believed in me every step of the way and has kept me going and I will do whatever it takes to succeed and be the greatest football player my dad has ever seen.
My academic goals for college are to get a masters degree and possibly a PhD in engineering and to prepare myself for life and hopefully a successful career. I also plan on making connections and relationships with people that will last through my life, because I know that my college experience will contribute to who I am as a person. I know that I posses qualities of Respect, Dedication, and Honor in everything I do, and I plan on contributing to my team though these qualities in all my actions.
