Personal Statement

My name is Tyler Francis and I've wanted to be a college athlete since I was 5 years old. I've discovered a realistic way to achieve that with longsnapping which I've worked hard enough to become ranked a 4 star by Rubio Longsnapping. I've always been well behaved and a good listener. I perform optimally in academics and have never struggled to make team standards. I always work hard to make my way onto the field whether it be on offense defense or now special teams. I have a 3.99 cumulative GPA and I've made Principal's honor roll 3 years in a row. My dream school is UCLA but I am happy to go wherever I am given an opportunity.

  • Star Rating: 4.5 RSI: 10.78 Tyler Francis did really well at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5. Smooth Long Snapper that snaps a very clean ball back to the punter. His follow through is good and his snapping motion is very smooth back to the punter. Tyler moves well on his feet and he gets out of the hole very quickly. From zero to full speed is super quick and Tyler has good balance with his snapping and athleticism. The harder he snaps the ball, the better Tyler will do since his form is so good. Good attitude, upside and I am excited to see him in Idaho this July!

  • Star Rating: 4 RSI: 7.23 From Chris Rubio: Tyler Francis showed me a lot of good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Los Angeles on March 10, 2024. Really smooth Long Snapper with a very catchable ball to the punter and holder. His starting form is very good and I like how well Tyler gets his whole body involved in the process. The more he presses the gas when snapping, the more dominant he will be since his overall snapping motion is fantastic and he can trust it as much as he wants. Good attitude and one to watch at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5.

  • Star Rating: 4 RSI: 7.38 From Chris Rubio, "Tyler had a great weekend at Vegas XLIII in January 2024. Tyler snaps a very smooth ball back to the punter. The ball is very catchable and any punter is going to fall in love with that. He has a overall very good frame and pretty athletic. Moves well and has no problem breaking down and making a play. Very consistent with his snapping times hovering in the high .7’s to low .8’s every single time. A pleasure to work with and I’m excited to see him continue to get better."

Solid starting form and he is able to reach back well to the punter. Strong Long Snapper that has good potential. Built well and he is strong. Love to see Tyler focus on slow motion drills in order to get the timing locked down between his upper and lower half. He is a little glitchy right now and that is playing with his snapping motion. Super easy fix that will pay off big time at VEGAS XLIII in January."
