2013 HighlightsMy name is Michael Halley Isaac III, a Senior at Galt High School in Galt, California, and I play football as a Full Back/Defensive Tackle and serve as Team Captain. I have also played Running Back, Line Backer,Offensive Guard, Nose Tackle, and Defensive End. I am willing to play any position that I am needed to play. I have just started my second season on Varsity. I received Honorable Mention All-league as a Left Guard last season. I am also an FBU Alumni and Blue-Grey Football Red Zone Prospect
One of my best qualities is that I am a team player and will do my best to help out the team in whatever position I am put into. I work hard and give my all in everything I do, not just in football. I have overcome many obstacles in my path to get to where I am today and I look forward to working hard to get what I want out of life.
One of the obstacles that I overcame was a physical one. When I was little, I was unable to stand flat footed and thanks to Shriner's Hospital, I am now able to walk and run without any physical ailments. In the first and fourth grade, I had to have serial casting every week and sleep in braces for several months to correct my problem. I didn't let the casts on my legs get me down. I ran with them on, got them dirty, and even knocked off a bunch of the casting. What I learned from that experience was that no matter what might slow me down, never stop trying.
