My name is Ryan Marsh and I am currently a high school senior, playing quarterback for our varsity football team. I have grown up in a military household, where I have learned firsthand the meaning of honor, commitment, service, dedication, and discipline. This has also offered me many opportunities for community involvement, service, and stewardship. I am a proud Marine Corps grandson.
Growing up I have played many sports from a young age, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and of course football. Football is my true passion, and I have been attending professional games since before I was even born! I have grown up hearing about my great uncle Alex play for both the Los Angeles Rams and the Oakland Raiders.
I have played football for many years, both flag and tackle, and from diverse teams, coaches and teammates I have learned leadership skills, confidence, patience, and dedication. I have been on winning teams as well as teams who struggled, and through these experiences I certainly learned perseverance.
Academically I aspire to graduate with honors and be a strong academic candidate for any university that I apply to. My goal for college is to become a proficient scholar and athlete.
