David Delgado '24 Recruiting Profile

I would like to be part of your football team. I have played football for seven years both with at the local city league, junior high (flag) and now at the high school level starting at JV my Freshman year. I have been offered to move up from JV to varsity for my Sophomore year.  I have also played basketball and track for at least five years. I have been able to excel in sports as well as academics . I currently maintain a 3.0 GPA or better. I can lead a team on and off the field. With my leadership skills I will make sure everyone gives 110 percent.  I am proud of my ability to keep my peers involved and on track to meet their athletic and educational goals. I am different than other athletes because I strive for excellence no matter what sport I am playing. I assist in scoring through out the game regardless of which team member it is. I score 2-3 touch downs a game. At 15 years old I am already 6 ft. tall  and I recently dunked in a basketball game. At my most recent track meet I took home 3 golds (4 by 1, 110 meter hurdles and high jump with a 5'2" jump).  I will lead the team in the locker room and school grounds. I wold love to achieve the american dream of a college scholarship to play sports and obtain an academic education at the same time. I thank you for your consideration.
