Luke Hoggard '19 Recruiting Profile

I am Luke Hoggard, Class of 2019, and a senior student and varsity football player at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California.  I am a hard working student athlete who enjoys learning and acquiring new skills in the classroom, while competing with my peers on an intellectual level.  I am most proud of my streak of straight "A"s stretching back to early elementary school.  I will be working hard to keep that streak alive in the coming years.   

Physical competition through team sports and, in particular, football, has always been a large part of my life.  Aside from the competition and the pure and absolute love of the game, I have always cherished the camaraderie among teammates, the thrill of a team victory, and the gratification of positive results from hard work.  In line with these values I am always looking to be a positive influence on my team by working the most hard, being inclusive and encouraging others in their efforts.  

I want to compete and win in the classroom and on the field at the collegiate level, where both academics and football are important to the school and the community as a whole.  If I am fortunate enough to be recruited by your school, I will not disappoint.  I am a hardworking, coachable, positive student athlete who will excel in the classroom, while also helping you win football games.
