My combination of passion, dedication, and a thirst for continuous improvement sets me apart from other athletes as a candidate for your team. As long as I can remember football has been my life. When I was little I would always watch the niner games on the TV with my family, then my mom bought season tickets and I got to go to the games sometimes too, and couldn’t wait till I could play one day. When I was 8, I finally got that chance. Since my first practice I fell in love with the game and since then have always worked as hard as I could to make sure I was the best at whatever position I played. I was placed across many positions on offense and defense, but I was finally stationed at middle linebacker and that is where I thrived. My nickname was "hitman" because I would always set the tone with big hits. I understand I'm not the biggest player, but I make up for it with my coachability, determination, and competitive spirit. Throughout my 10 years playing football, I’ve grown as a player as well as a person. I’ve been taught life lessons like respect, persistence, adaptability, and working together as a team with a mutual goal: Win games. If you recruit me to your team I can guarantee you that I will do my best to win you games.
Although my college and career goals are still evolving, I'm driven to be a leader in creating things. My interests span across various fields, including business, video arts, and environmental and civil engineering. While seemingly different, I'm determined to find ways to integrate these passions into a cohesive career that aligns with my values and aspirations. My academics used to be very good as learning came easy to me. However, the Covid-19 pandemic greatly affected my learning process because previously I was a straight-A student. When the pandemic happened I was struggling with remote learning and keeping myself on top of my work. When school went back in person, I struggled with getting back into the groove of managing my time playing three sports (Football, Lacrosse, Shot Put/Discuss), doing my work, and spending time with my friends who I missed a lot during the pandemic. I am getting better at it, but I admit it is still an area I am working on because it is essential to achieve my academic and collegiate athletic dreams. I would love the opportunity to continue my growth in this area balancing just football and academics as part of my college career. If you allow me that opportunity, I will do my best to not only help your team work together to win games but also get my head together off the field as well. Thanks for taking the time to read about me. I hope to talk to you soon!
