Colleges is a big deal to me because no one in my family has gone and I want to make my parents proud by receiving scholarships, get accepted to a college, and graduate with a degree. My goal in life has always been to play a sport in college because I have excelled in every sport i've played and I do not know what I would be doing right now without sports in my life. I play football, wrestling, and baseball. I enjoy all these sports, but there is something about football that I just love and want to play at the next level. What I have learned from my coaches is that you just can't be good out in the field. People think that if you are great athlete, you will be drowning in scholarship offers. Well, I believe other wise. There is a reason why we are called student-athletes. I am a firm believer that grades and studying comes before sports. Most athletes do not care about that and rather play video games, go out with friends, or just don't do their work. I am enrolled in honors classes and have always been one of the top students in my grade academically and athletically. What sets me apart from other recruits is my attitude and work ethic. Everyone wants to be the best, but no one ever wants to put the time and effort to get there. There is always going to be people that try to bring you down and tell you-you can't do something. That is when you prove them wrong. I will continue to strive for success in the classroom and in every sport I play, so I can accomplish my goal to play at the next level. All I need is one school to believe in me and I will make the most of it.
