Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to earn degree in a field of study that i love and would make a career out of. I want to represent the identity of the student-athlete with the very best of my abilities. I want to work hard and bring the hard hat everyday, whether its the classroom, weight room, or the field. I want to serve my lord and savior Jesus Christ with what i love doing, and that is being relentless in my passion of football. Not many people get a chance or opportunity to play this awesome sport. What makes me a good candidate for your team? its simple. I have a strong work ethic, i work hard in my crafts. I may not be the strongest, fastest, or most athletic however i will make all that up by working hard at what i do and perfecting my craft every single day. I can learn systems extremely quick, I can get audibles and calls in a short period of time. I am a quick learner thats very coachable and will be open to whatever is best for the team to help us win. I am open to Free Safety, Strong Safety, Nickel, Dime, Outside Linebacker, I Will provide the maximum effort on defense into Special Teams as well. I am relentless, I play with a chip on my shoulder. I try to play with tremendous heart and try to add in my playing style with NFL Greats Like Troy Polamalu. I dont shy away from competition or contact. I am very grateful and fortunate i got to play varsity football as a sophomore and junior because all the expierence will help me show what i can do for you my senior year. i am very outgoing, i always get along with teammates, i try to support and keep my teammates heads up high. i try to lead my unit and get them going to play with 100% heart. i lead by example. i dont say much but when i do, its about others in order to support them and help them. im a selfless player. i am humble and never let success get to my head. i consider myself very strong. the problems i have faced in my life and struggles i have went through could have caused me to quit and move to bad habits and lifestyle like other kids in my neighborhood. however i never let that get to me. i keep myself humble and strong with God's help and my family's support. i love to learn new things everyday. Film, history, and english fascinate me. i want to get out there and see new places and learn new things. through the good times and bad times you will get the same humble hard working leader every single day, doing anything i can to contribute and help the team win and just be a good person, role model, and leader. this is what i have to offer. thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
