Cole Norris '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cole Norris and I am a Junior Quarterback from Newport Harbor High School.  We play in the highly competitive Sunset League (CIF Southwest Division) in Orange County, California.  I've been playing Quarterback ever since I first picked up a football but only started playing tackle football at the quarterback position since I was a Freshman. I have an absolute passion for the position and a love for the game.

As a Sophomore, I was put in the starting varsity role during the 2nd game of the season, where I played the entire rest of the season.  Although our team was historically run oriented, I finished with 16 TD's and 1463 yds.  In my Junior year, our coaching staff adjusted our offense to be pass oriented and I finished the year with 27 TD’s and 2953 yds on 188/323 passing.  I was awarded with 2nd team all-county honors and voted the offensive back of the year (co.) for our league.

I am absolutely committed and motivated to play football at the next level.  I firmly believe that, in addition to my athletic skills, I will bring numerous benefits to the college I attend both on the field as well as in the locker-room and on the sideline.  I possess an extremely strong work ethic and believe there is no substitute for outworking your competition.

I am a solid student, citizen, Christian and am very interested in your school as it fits my desire to play for a highly reputable university with both sound academics as well as athletics.
