Dawson Johnson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dawson Johnson. I am a 2024 grad at Palm Desert High School, in Southern California. 

I am a driven, highly motivated, well rounded, student athlete. I believe in family, commitment, honesty, and integrity. 

I have been selected as a captain in both football and soccer from my early years through to today. I believe I am a winner, not necessarily because I am always the best player, but I hold myself and my teammates accountable, both on the field and in practice. I think that is at least in part why, my teams and I have had success in the past.    

I excel in both football and soccer, however football is my true passion. I have worked on my strength, speed, agility, and football skills almost everyday since my varsity season ended last November, including playing a lot of 7v7 this past winter. In my 2022 football season I was a unanimous first team all-league and all-area selection. I was also a first team all-league and all-area selection for the 2022-23 soccer season.

Education is also important to me, which is why I achieve above average grades. My goal is to stay at or above a 3.8 GPA through high school and college. I also take great pride in having strong relationships with my family, friends, teachers, and coaches. I am a leader on and off the field and look at everyday as an opportunity to better myself in every way!!

I sincerely believe I am the type of person and football player that you would want in your program!!
