I have been a student of Football since age 5 when I first played the game. Throughout my life football has been my compass; when my academics became tough the Field was my sanctuary. I was able to focus my efforts on the game and through this developed a strong work ethic, perseverance, leadership skills and demonstrated putting the team first. During my time as a student - athlete with Serrano, I have had the privilege to play three different defensive positions at the coaches request: Outside Linebacker (Freshman), Free Safety (Sophomore and Junior) and presently I play Defensive End. These opportunities have strengthened my versatility on the field and allowed me to contribute to my team's success.
Off the field, I was able to utilize the skills developed while playing Football in my volunteer work as a Sheriff Explorer in my community. I have been an active member of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Explorer program for three (3) years furthering my knowledge on the Criminal Justice system, increasing my leadership skills and providing community outreach for youth and adults. These two (2) passion areas of mine, have led me to seek out college opportunities that will allow me to continue to do what I love; play the Game while pursuing my education in Criminal Justice. I am confident that I have the commitment and perseverance needed to play at the collegiate level.
