My aspirations and collegiate goals are to pursue a career as an astrophysicist or something in STEM when I graduate college. Football has always been passion ever since my dad introduced to the sport when I was 5. I currently hold a 3.57 cumulative GPA which means that I am able to get the job done on and off the field. What makes me a good candidate for a college team is that I can play multiple positions. Throughout my entire football career as a team captain I have played all positions on the line on both sides of the ball, while helping my team ascend to a state championship this year after a losing season last year. I used my ability to stay calm in stressful situations to help keep my team motivated despite the frustration of our previous losses. I also study the playbooks on both sides of the ball so when I am on the field, I know my job. I strive to stay focused and motivated on and off the field and be a responsible student-athlete. I have challenged myself with AP and honors classes to increase my opportunities academically. If I were to be accepted to a college program I would apply these same qualities and skills to succeed.
