For as long as I can remember, I’ve been playing or holding a football. Starting when I was five, I played flag football, when I was seven, I took the leap from flag to tackle. Growing up as a leader & Quarterback on my Rancho Penasquitos Pop Warner football team for seven years, it molded me into a quick and loud General on the field. While off the field, my teammates could come to me for help from a range of topics, homework to personal conflicts. I embraced my role as leader both on and off the field at a quick rate, which has helped me mature as a person, student, and athlete.
The academic standards I hold myself to are strict and rigorous, thanks to my mom who laid my academic foundation at a very early age. Which today, has led me to where I am, and I will continue to hold myself in the academic years to follow. Graduating high school with no less than a 4.2 GPA is the goal I have set for myself.
I work just as hard on the field as off, juggling school, film, practice, and family time. Having a balanced life is key but when it’s time to work, it’s time to work… simply put! When I’m not doing homework or studying, I’m training, working out in the gym, or finding ways to make myself better as an athlete. I’m always learning, versatile, as well as coachable.
