Personal Statement

I'm a child who was raised by a single mother with a single goal through out my whole life to go to college and become the best I can be. I have been a tri-athlete, but found my passion when I was introduced to football at the age of 10. Since I have been playing and exceeded my expectations for myself, talent wise. I believe that I will be a great candidate for any team because I have amazing social and leadership skills, i have the tendency to learn things fairly quick and I have a very strong sense of determination to achieve success in anything I take part in.

ActivitiesI am involved in a program with my community called the Second Xhance Program where we talk and facilitate city council meetings with youth to talk about the problems within the streets. I am also part of a Brazilian samba percussionist group where we perform all over the Bay Area to create exposure so that more people could join and find something exciting to participate in.
