Blaine Nye '17 Recruiting Profile

Honestly, I'm not the strongest or most skilled guy on the line. I'm not a titan who can push the sled single-handed, and I'm not agile enough to be diving through guards like water. I'll be damned, though, if you can find anyone with more heart. I don't care how big the guy across from me is, I don't care how fast he is, if my bottom line is to put him down or seal him off, that becomes my sole purpose in life until the whistle blows. I never tap out, I never give up, and though I may slow down, I will give all of myself so that the team might succeed. I'm not flashy and I won't go out of my way to get a highlight hit, what matters most is that the job gets done and it gets done well. I'm a fast learner, which allows me to learn several positions like the back of my hand, not to mention keeping my grades high and dry. I've never been one to believe that I could be better than those who've gone before me, so when coach talks, I listen. I'm dependable, and at the end of the day, I will do whatever I need to do to help my brothers on the line.
