Noah Magana '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Noah Magana.  I am a 5'7 and 165 pound junior running-back at Santa Paula High School. I have been playing football since I was eight years old in 2005. I received Scholar Athlete awards for keeping my grades over a 3.5 every year in high school. I was the Sophomore Class Vice President,Junior Class Treasurer, and will be the Commissioner of Spirit, which coordinated and runs school rallies and produce pride in our school. In my junior year, I took rigorous AP classes in English and History and managed to keep my other studies at their best, keeping a 3.9 or higher.

In football, I rushed for 1,412 yards on 215 carries and 16 total TDs. I received 2nd Team All League and our team's Offensive MVP award. They all say it was my best year, but I intend to make next year even better. I train and work hard every day; I catch numerous balls, run routes after routes, lift countless weights, and do footwork for a while. Once they day is over, I get my rest, and do it again. I am dedicated to make my future successful and I am the one who determines that. My team is right after my family and we push each other every day. The seniors have been through a 2-8 season, lack of senior leadership, and a coach who left 2 months after accepting the job. Once we found our coach who has been an assistant from the start, being that he knows who we are, how we are, and the amazing respect we have for each other, it was started. Last years 5-6 with a playoff appearance was a stepping stone to where we want to be.
