Football has been an intricate and influential part of my life since my earliest memories. It has also taught me valuable life lessons in terms of my personal growth as a young man and student athlete. Being a student athlete, especially at a prestigious institution like Grace Brethren High School, has given me the opportunity to learn and appreciate the value of time management, self accountability, and consistency which will serve me well as I aspire to play collegiate football. Also, I would not have had the individual and team success of winning a state championship without giving credit to all of the coaches and mentors who have guided me along the way. Playing college football has always been a dream and aspiration of mine, and I feel I have always been a great teammate that shows up with a smile on my face ready to work day in and day out. I have always been taught that hard work and positivity is contagious, and I plan to bring those assets to the next venture that life has in store for me. Understanding the competitiveness of earning an opportunity to play college football, I have taken many measures in order to separate myself from other student athletes. Aside from attending one of the best private schools in the state of California, I have also been grateful to work with one of the best long snapping programs in the nation, Rubio Long Snapping, where I am currently ranked as a 4 star long snapper. However, my dedication to my craft in football has not taken a toll on my cumulative GPA as I currently hold a 3.8 as I finish my junior year. Along with being diligent on the football field and classroom, I have taken pride in volunteering for multiple youth football camps over the years. I have also tried to stay versatile in my athletics by being an intricate part of the high school lacrosse team. I was raised with a blue collar mentality that has taught me that the work and dedication I put in, especially when nobody is necessarily watching, will provide me success in not only football, but also in life. I have always strived to be uplifting teammate and bring nothing but positivity and respect to the locker room, my fans, and my superiors. I feel that I have properly prepared myself to be a well-rounded candidate at any school I have the opportunity to be a part of. Lastly, a quote that has always driven me to be better has been “the harder you work, the luckier you get.” I appreciate the consideration and look forward to my next endeavor as a qualified student athlete, wherever that may be. Thank you.
