Andrew Lockwood '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 12 years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have been aspired to continue to play this sport at a competitive level. I know that playing at the college level would be my once in a lifetime goal and opportunity that would change my life.

I am always working on improving my skills whether it be physically to get stronger, faster, bigger, and agile, but also to improve mentally on skills that would be used later in life. I help set an example to my team by encouraging and helping player in practices in order to succeed in the game. I am very coachable and I strive to succeed in order to become one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you will find.

I strive to compete in the classroom as I work hard in school to maintain a high GPA (around 3.4 to 3.5 cumulatively). I also volunteer in community youth football camps in my town.

I am willing to attend a college where I can strive to push myself in not only the classroom but also on the field.  I am open to all options and to ultimately find the best college match at the highest level of competition. I am willing to set an example as a great role model towards my peers and to make my parents and family proud.
