Joaquin Murillo III '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" Quarterback from Visalia, CA (Tulare Co). I have been the starting Quarterback on the Redwood High School varsity team for 3 years. My current GPA is 3.7 and I am taking AP courses this year to excell in the classroom as well as on the field. I also participate in varsity baseball as an outfielder, although football is my number one sport. I have the ability to hit the ball hard and I hold a competitive batting average. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the campus and outdoor activities. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Biology and an ARMY ROTC program. Ideally, my athletic and mental skills would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team as a leader. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities. I am an over achiever on and off the football field as shown by my perfect GPA and passion for the game. I am prepared to be an asset and leader at your college campus, on your football team, and in your ARMY ROTC Program.
