Faran Esmailpour '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0 Wide Receiver/DB from Walnut Creek, CA and will be graduate in the 2021 class. I am going into my senior year attending Las Lomas High School, This year will be my third year playing football, first year playing varsity.

My interested in football started in my sophomore year of high school.  Not playing my freshman year I regret it,  because I would have been able to do so many special things with not only my teammates,  but with the coaching staff as well. Somethings that I have learned about myself during the JV season was that I'm very patient when it comes to learning new things, such as new plays or different technique, but with the goals I set for myself I try and really think about how I can achieve those goals while trying to perfect them. My academic goals for the rest of my high school career would be to maintain 2.0 GPA or higher to help my athletic side be successful.  

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the field. I would like to pursue a University with an outstanding academic and athletic environment.  Ideally,  my athletic environment would be where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the D2 or NAIA level, however I will be highly considering strong academic D3 opportunities.
