My name is Jake Krauss. I'm going into my junior year of High school and I've been playing football since second grade. Whether it was flag, tackle, two hand touch, or just for fun, I have always had a special place in my heart for the game of football. I was born in October and watched football from the age of just days old. I think I am a good candidate for a college team because I never give up and always try to do the best I can with the opportunities I have. I put everything out on the field every chance I get hopping to WOW the coaches. One thing most recruits lack that I excel in is, a feel for the game. Ever since I touched a football field I have always had an eye for whats going on; killer instincts if you will. I like to compare this sense to what other safeties in the NFL have such as Cam Chancellor, Derwin James, and Ronnie Lott. I am a hard worker and very stubborn so it would take a lot for me to fall and not get back up. I take pride in my ability to always get up no matter what knocks me down. Academics have been more or less a struggle for me. I have ADHD and sometimes I get distracted in class. My grades are the most important thing to me heading into my 11th grade year. I will make sure I work overtime to get my grades where they need to be.
