Reese Ho-On '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2023 recruit looking to join a program that will be an exceptional fit for me athletically as well as academically. I have the talent to compete for a college team, possess the characteristics of a strong teammate, and will make a positive impact on your school’s program.

I am passionate about the game and will bring that passion, commitment to excellence, and discipline to my team and my role. I grew up in a soccer-oriented family. My father, aunt, and brother all played competitively and I started playing soccer at the age of 5. Playing sports my whole life has taught me the importance of practice, discipline, putting in the effort, being competitive and continuously looking to improve. 

My experience in football has taught me about adapting to a new environment and learning quickly. Through dedication and hard work, I have grown as a kicker and punter  and have learned that if I am consistent and focus my efforts on what needs to be improved, I can achieve my goals. An example of this is dedicating myself to gaining weight over the summer. By working out at least 6x per week, I gained 10+lbs of muscle over the summer and increased all of my lifts tremendously, in preparation for this 2022 season.
