At Braden River High, our Class 7A football team's story was heralded by our local newspapers as "the feel good story of the year" for the 2013 football season.   As the starting varsity quarterback my junior season, I was thrilled to be able to contribute to my team's success as we were able to put together the Pirate's first winning season in four years.   At the conclusion of week 10 of the football season, I was leading all area public school quarterbacks in total number of passing yards, and least number of interceptions.

My junior season stats were: 67 completions, 129 attempts, 1,121 passing yards, 10 passing TDs, 3 interceptions, 65 rushes, 247 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs.  Please note that these stats were accomplished with only 24 quarters of playing time.

I believe in leading by example and strive to be the hardest working member of my team.  In the off season I compete in multiple football combines and camps and train with Chris Weinke of IMG Academies here in Bradenton.  Last year, I was the top scoring Class of 2015 quarterback at the NIKE Football SPARQ Combine in Miami where over 950 high school football players competed.  In 2014, my NIKE SPARQ Rating was in the top 4% nationwide of the 16,000 football players who chose to compete at every position. I consistently ran my 40 yard dash in the 4.5's this summer at Duke, Wake Forest and other camps I attended.  My performance at the combines and on the football field have earned me invites to multiple "invitation only" events including the Nike Elite 11 Quarterback Regionals, the Rivals Camp Series by Under Armour, and the VTO Sports Elite 100 where I was recently named Quarterback MVP.   I am also committed to working hard in the classroom where I am taking Honors, AP, and College level classes.

At the conclusion of the first semester of my junior year, my parents and I decided it was best for me to make a move to Bradenton Christian School where I will finish my time in high school in a Christian, College Prep environment.  Bradenton Christian is just minutes from IMG Academy where I continue to train.  I am learning a lot from Bradenton Christian's Head Football Coach Allan Gerber who has nearly 20 years of College coaching experience. I was voted a team captain by my teammates for the 2014 season and I just completed a great season playing quarterback (14 touchdowns), safety (50+ tackles), kicking the extra points, and doing anything else that I was asked to do to help my team win football games.  I continue to prepare hard academically and athletically for my future at the next level and believe I have the skills, speed, athleticism , and work ethic to compete at any level of college football.  Please contact my head coach to inquire about my abilities, character, and work ethic.
