Christopher Lim '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christopher Lim. I am a 2022 IMG Academy Running back who moved here last year from Singapore to pursue a good education and an opportunity to play football.  I am an ambitious student-athlete that excels both in the classroom and on the field.  Coming into IMG Academy I had around a 3.6 GPA. I earned a 4.45 GPA for my junior year here and recently closed out the first quarter with a 4.59! I'm thankful to have been named team captain and "player of the game" on several occasions.

While I was born in the US - my father is Chinese-Canadian, and my mother is from Costa Rica - I have grown up in Singapore. Living abroad, and traveling, has taught me the power of diversity, and compassion for those inhabitants of countries that do not enjoy the comforts of living in a first world country. I was recruited by IMG Academy’s football program for my Junior year and have enjoyed their guidance, discipline, and support to make me a better person and player. While the schedule is challenging, my time at the Academy has taught me to be planful, efficient and independent.
