The first time I realized that football is the sport for me was in 8th grade when I scored a touchdown, but hurt my ankle during the play. This injury lead to me being out the rest of the season. While I couldn't play I realized how much I missed playing the game. I was heartbroken and I knew football was my passion from that day on. One thing I love about football is how my personality changes right when I step on the field. From the first kick to the last second on the clock I become so focused on the game that I can not think about anything else besides winning. Those are one of those feelings that I look forward too every single day. Even though I love football so much my first priority is school. I know if I do not get good grades I will not be playing football. I have goals to graduate high school and then move on to graduate college.
Unique traits that you should know about me are that I am very coachable. Every coach I've ever had always tells me how it is so easy to coach me. They tell me to do something and I will do it. During practice and games I am blessed with the mindset that no one is better then me. If someone does something good I have to do it great. I believe this mindset lead me to be captain of my freshman team and be asked to dress for varsity in their last game. Three important skills that define me are my hands, my speed and my athleticism. I have always had good hands ever since I was a little kid and that is because I play center field in baseball which gave me very good hand-eye coordination. I'm also the fastest on my team. I am very athletic and able to play any position that my coach puts me. I have played many positions on the football field and I always make sure I get the job done. You will not once regret having me play for your college football team.
