Nick Thomas '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2", 230 lbs, linebacker for IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL, where I finished this season with 106 tackles in 10 games. I am originally from Concordia, KS, where I started Varsity as LB and FB my Freshman and Sophomore years. I also played baseball my Freshman and Sophomore years where I was named 1st Team All League third baseman for both years. Most recently I scored a Sparq rating of 97.14 at the Orlando NFTC on March 15th, 2014. I was invited to the Under Armour All American Combine in St. Petersburg, Fl, where I was selected by Rivals.com to the All Combine Team ( Defense). Also I was invited to a Rivals camp in Miami in March of this year. I was invited to play in the NUCAmerican Game held in South Carolina. I also was chosen to play Linebacker for the WEST team of the 8th grade Eastbay American game in San Antonio TX (January 9, 2011). I am on track to graduate early (December) of my Senior year in order to attend college. My class rank is 1 of 90, and my GPA is above 4.3. I also scored a 28 on the ACT as a Sophomore. I am looking for an institution that has a great academic program as well as a great football program where I can make an impact.
