As an AP honor student, I have an academic drive as well as an athletic drive to succeed. I would love an opportunity to continue my studies and to be able to play football. I am very involved with my schools FCA program, having helped to restart it. I also am very active within my youth group and have attended a week long working retreat in July 2012 to do community work in Arkansas. We also help with our local food bank by serving breakfast on Sunday mornings via my youth group. I have been the starting center since early in my sophomore year. We won the 7A Florida State championship and lost in the State Semi Final to eventual champion Saint Thomas my junior year. I understand what it takes to work hard and continue to work year round on improving my skills and being dedicated to putting in the extra work to reach my goals. My sophomore year chose to play Lacrosse for our school club team vs. a more established club team because I feel that I owe it to my school to help start a tradition and grow it into a varsity high school sport. I have a strong desire to help others and realize that a college education provides me an excellent start in my adult life. I look forward to the opportunity of playing football in college and graduating and seeing what other challenges life has in store for me.
