Nicholas Vogel '14 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be a D1 kicker and will do everything it takes to get there. I love the pressure situations kicking provides and love helping my team succeed. I am commited to pursuing my dream of football on to the next level of play. I look forward to helping a college team succeed while obtaining a top-quality education. Highlights of 2011 and 2012 include:

• Tying for first in Field Goals the Kohl's Invitational Scholarship Camp 2011.
• Winning my age group in the One On One Kicking Expo in Field Goals, Kickoffs, and the Last Man Standing Competition (kick until you miss) with a long of 55 yards (2012).
• Placing 1st in Field Goals and 2nd in Kick Offs (out of 25 competitors) at the Kornblue Kicking Camp at NC State (2012)
• Winning the Last Man Standing Competition at Louisiana Tech among 50 other kickers (mostly seniors) with a long kick of 55 yards (2012).
• This past fall, as a junior I was the only kicker selected to the All Gateway Conference Team for the 2012 season with 13 schools competing, 5 of those schools were 8A schools (3,000+ students).

2013 Highlights include:

• Being selected as one of the top 50 underclassman kickers in the nation by Kohls to compete in their Underclassman Challenge.  Currently 26th in the nation by Kohls
• Currently ranked 3rd by One-on-One Kicking
