Josh Hughes '19 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'2" heart driven player dedicated to anything I do. Attending Keystone Heights High school in Keystone Heights, FL, my dream and goal is to play football at the college level. Failure is something I cannot stand, so by getting better each and everyday, I feel like I could be apart of any college program. Not only for athletics, but also for my academics. Having a 4.4 weighted GPA, academics are extremely important to me. No matter where I go, I am willing to do what others won't in order to accomplish what others can't. I am not a quitter and have learned a lot through my three years as a varsity starter. Character, leadership, and teamwork are all things that i have been able to grasp since I was young. I am curently a DE/OL/LB. I recently recieved two All-Area 2nd team awards from different areas and one All-Area Honorable Mention this past 2017-18 season. I am also a three year Varsity Basketball player, I give it my all and known for my good defensive ability. My Junior year was my first year participating in Weight Lifting, I placed 4th in the district playoffs. I was nominated for the 3 star athlete award in 2018. I have the dedication and willingness to succeed and can play any position on the field. Where ever you need me, that's where I will go. My faith is very strong, and I believe that God has a plan and purpose for my life.
