Nicholas Maza '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida and plan to graduate in June, 2019. I have been playing Soccer since I was four years old and played on a competitive travel team for six years. I have played different sports throughout the years which included Flag Football, Lacrosse and I even attempted Fencing and some Taekwondo. I have always thought of Football as a fun, competitive sport but I never really thought of playing it seriously in High School until I noticed there was a position I could play coming from a strong soccer background. During the summer before I entered high school, I practiced with the school team and after trying out and proving my potential in the sport, I have been the starting Kicker for my high school team for the past three years both on the Junior Varsity and Varsity team. These last two years as a Varsity team member. I am a committed and proud member of the team and consider myself eager and willing to do whatever it takes to make my team win.

I look forward to playing at a university that will allow me to play to my fullest potential and will offer me an opportunity to pursue an education.
