My name is Julian Racing Diaz graduating class of 2018. I will be a freshman in the fall of 2014. Currently, I am 5'11" and 227lbs. I started to play football at age 13 and fell in love with the sport. I played in the NFL league and my positions were running back, full back, tight end, defensive end, punter, and field goal kicker.
I had the privilege to lead my team to the championship game. At first, I was a heavier player at 210 lbs. I was put on offensive line and rather slow at the time. My coach told me if I wanted any other position I needed to prove to him that I was capable by working hard. So I got down to 179 lbs. and ran a 4:76 in camp. The following season I was the starting running back and led the team in scoring and making tackles. I truly believe that hard work always pays off.
I was invited to play defensive end for the eighth grade FBU All-stars team in south west Florida in the fall of 2013. We finished the season champions in the state and fifth in the nation. I enjoy working hard at my goals, academics, and anything I put my mind to. Getting a scholarship for my future education is very important to me. I enjoy meeting new people, coaches and staff. I will be attending summer camps at the University of Miami, Appalachian State University, Lynn University, and IMG. I am looking forward to becoming a wiser, stronger and faster football player over the summer. I also received an invitation as the only freshman to try out for the varsity team this fall. My father always says to applaud those who seem better than you, for they have worked very hard to get there.
