I have grown up with a supporting and loving family, that's helped me get into an educationally advanced elementary and the Pre-AICE Program at Lakeside middle school. I could have followed that same path and went to Fleming Island Highschool and participated in the AICE program. But me and my family did not like the idea of me going to Fleming Island High, based on the bad history of the school and its students. Now at Ridgeview Highschool I'm taking Algebra 2 and English 3 as a freshman.
At the ending of 7th grade Coach Jordan, one of the assistant coaches for the football team told me I should try out for the Spring team. After the spring season ended I realized that I severely enjoyed playing football. I have tried out for the football teams at the middle school and high school level ever since then.
Since starting football I have realized that I have a good build for being a lineman. My high school academic goal is to graduate with a 3.5 GPA or higher. My college academic goal is to get a bachelor or higher in the subject I choose to major in. I have the dedication to learn any position the coach tells me to play, but I have the best knowledge and practice on being a nose guard and an offensive guard.
Since the corona outbreak was still a big thing in the summer of the beginning of my freshman year I figured they wouldn’t have a football season that year. However the league ended up having a season, and I missed the conditioning over the summer and the first couple weeks of practice. I was unaware of the beginning of the football season until one of the kids in my Spanish class, who was on the team, told me they had finished conditioning and the first couple weeks of practice were over. Since I got a late start on the season I was sure I would get little to no play time. However I ended up playing 2 and ½ games on the O-line out of the 5 games JV played that season.
